MEMBERSHIP POLICIES:
- Dues for the coming guild year are due in June each year, by June 30th, the last day of the current guild-year.
- The Guild Year runs from July 1 to June 30.
- Members whose dues have not been received by HGBV by September 15th will be removed from the membership list which will remove access from guild resources, including (but not limited to) membership directory, groups.io access, guild email distribution list, access to online guild events, access to equipment rental, access to library, etc. Upon receipt of late payment, all access will be restored, and member information will be added to the current digital directory. Directory updates will be periodically emailed to membership during the guild year and will be updated frequently online, in groups.io file.
- Dues may be paid online or in person using cash, check, or online payment. Convenience fee of $2.00 will apply to all online or digital payments.
- All new and renewing members will submit a completed membership form each year. Membership forms may be submitted by email to the current Membership Officer, in-person (paper), or with online payment (if paying online, you will complete the form during the checkout process). Payment of dues may be submitted via mail (to HGBV PO Box), in person, or online via HGBV website. A member needs only to submit one version (paper, email, or online) of the membership form.
- If a NEW member pays their dues in April or after, the dues will apply to the remainder of the current guild year and to the following guild year. Dues paid by new members during the guild year before April will apply only to the current guild year.
